Marigold macerate is made by macerating dried marigold leaves in olive oil. It is rich in carotenoids and increases the resilience of the skin to external irritations and other factors. It has anti-infective, anti-inflammatory, healing and therapeutic properties which help difficult wounds to heal. It is used for abscess, decubitus ulcer, venous inflammation, hemorrhoids, bruises, cuts, chapped skin, rash and eczema. It prevents scar formation.
