Macadamia, a tree indigenous to Australia and New Zealand, is called “the queen of all nuts”. Fast-absorbing macadamia nut oil smoothens and moisturizes the skin. It has a high content of palmitoleic acid (25%) so it is ideal for mature skin care. It is quickly absorbed into the skin, and when taken orally, it can help reduce LDL/VDL (“bad” cholesterol). Due to the high content of linoleic acid it is helpful in treating cracked, dehydrated skin which is difficult to hydrate.
