Cold-pressed avocado oil is of greenish colour and it has characteristic nutty scent/smell of fresh avocados. It has a high proportion of steroline, which has anti-inflammatory effect on skin. This oil is rich in many nutritive substances, among which are vitamins A and D, lecithin, chlorophyll. It penetrates epidermis rapidly, nourishes, moisturizes, softens and soothes the skin and stimulates cell regeneration. It boosts collagen production, which makes it ideal for mature and dehydrated skin. It penetrates the hair better than most other oils due to its proportion of monounsaturated fatty acids and is thus ideal pre-wash hair conditioner.
