Tea tree is a evergreen shrub originating from Australia. It got its name when James Cook back in the 18th century saw the natives of Australia making tea from the Melaleuca plant.

Today it is one of the best known essential oils. It is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves. It takes around 100 kg of leaves to produce 1 kg of essential oil.

Tea tree essential oil has been revered for ages for its antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral properties. It has traditionally been used to treat respiratory infections regardless of the cause, infective enteritis and colitis, urogenital infections, acne, flu. Because of its efficacy tea tree essential oils is an inevitable part of every home pharmacy.

• Ravensara, 100% pure essential oil, 10 ml

Ravensara is a genus of trees and shrubs belonging to the family Lauraceae and endemic to the island of Madagascar. Since ancient times, the local population has been familiar with the healing properties of this plant, which are primarily due to its antiseptic, antiviral and antibacterial activity. Because of its intense scent, it is called “Hazomantira”, meaning “a tree which releases its scent”.

Ravensara essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of leaves. It takes approximately 50 kg of the plant material to produce 1 kg of essential oil.

Ravensara has traditionally been used for flu and viral respiratory infections.

• Eucalyptus, 100% pure essential oil, 10 ml

There are more than 600 sorts od the eucalyptus species in the world. Nevertheless, the most known and widely used is the eucalyptus globulus. Once indigenous only to the Australian continent, today it is also cultivated in other parts of the world like China, India, South Africa.

Eucalyptus essential oil is produced by steam distillation of the blue-green leaves. Around 50 kg of leaves is necessary to make 1 kg of essential oil.

Eucalyptus essential oil is a strong expectorant and it reduces the viscosity of the mucus in the respiratory tract so it has traditionally been used in all forms of respiratory infections accompanied by cough. We also recommend the use of this essential oil in aroma lamps and diffusors to desinfect and refresh the space.
